Established in 2000 as a village team in Marldon, Marldon Youth FC quickly outgrew its humble beginnings on the village pitch. Over the years, it has become a thriving football community with seven teams spanning various age groups. The club’s journey reflects its dedication to fostering a love for the sport and providing a platform for local talent to flourish.
Inclusivity and Fair Play:
One of the standout features of Marldon Youth FC is its commitment to inclusivity. The club strives to give fair game time to all players, regardless of their skill levels. Training and Matches:
Currently, Marldon Youth FC calls the all-weather Astroturf at Paignton Academy home for training sessions and matches. This state-of-the-art facility enhances the players’ experience, allowing them to hone their skills professionally.
Teams and Leagues:
Marldon Youth FC boasts seven teams participating in various age categories and leagues. The U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s, U15s, and U16s compete in the South Devon Pioneer Youth League. Additionally, the U18s team takes on the challenge in the Devon County U18 Leagues. This diverse range of teams showcases the depth and breadth of talent nurtured by the club.
Personal Connection:
As part of our commitment to Marldon Youth FC, one of our employees serves as the assistant coach for the U10s team, whose daughter also plays. This personal involvement reflects the close-knit relationship between CareFlex and the club, emphasising our dedication to the local community.
