Quantifying how much pressure relief an individual chair component provides is not possible as there are too many variables. For example, the use of Tilt-in-Space or Back Angle Recline will affect how pressure redistribution is being achieved. The individual components need to be viewed as a complete system. If there is a clinical need, replacing our WaterCell technology seat cushion and using a third-party cushion is possible. If this is the preferred clinical option, and depending on the size of the third-party cushion, it may be necessary to use a docking cushion.
