AlphaCare® II
Introducing the AlphaCare II, our latest innovation in specialist seating, designed for individuals with significant postural instability and movement challenges. Engineered with safety and stability in mind, this robust chair offers a range of features to enhance comfort and well-being.
Ideal for individuals with conditions such as Huntington’s disease, dementia, and other neurological or neuromuscular disorders, the AlphaCare provides optimal support in health and social care environments. With its linked seat and back recline, the chair automatically adjusts seat angles to ensure postural stability, while the contoured back promotes a midline position for improved physiological function and engagement.
The AlphaCare II goes beyond comfort, incorporating thoughtful design elements such as supportive armrests for added security and an ergonomic block leg rest to promote lower limb support and energy conservation. The Reflexion® foam technology in both the seat and leg rest ensures effective pressure relief for users with limited mobility, reducing the risk of pressure injuries.
After undergoing an extensive two-year trial period, the AlphaCare II was fine-tuned based on real-world feedback, making it the ultimate seating solution for individuals who require specialised postural care.
